Today, November 1, is the National Homeschooling Day of Prayer. My family started homeschooling in the 1980s
and I am so very grateful for the Lord’s strength and guidance during those 20 + years.
Homeschooling was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done, but it was also the most rewarding. If I had to choose, I would do it all again.
And now our grandbabies are being homeschooled by their parents. What a blessing!
What I’m Praying For Today
Lord, thank you for the freedom that we have to home educate our children. Guide our United States and state senators and representatives to vote in favor of issues
that will continue the freedom to teach our children at home.
We pray for our nation and for homeschoolers around the world. Guide them and protect them.
Help us as parents to walk in integrity and help our hearts to be turned toward our children. Help us to instill a love for Jesus Christ in their hearts and guide their steps.
May our hearts be filled with joy and gentleness. Help our minds to be focused on You and help us, as homeschooling parents,
to follow your guidance and direction.
We pray for our children to have clarity of thought and guide them in choosing You as their Savior, Deliverer, and eternal Friend.
Lord, give us your vision for this homeschooling adventure that you’ve given us. Teach us to trust you as our family’s plumb line.
Direct and guide our thoughts and our steps.
We love you, Father.
